Padmasana / Siddhasana

The foundation of all seated practice — a stable, self-contained base that holds the energy in and channels it upward.
Sitting cross-legged with the spine erect creates a triangular base, stable from every direction. It closes the lower body off, stopping the life force from dispersing downward through the legs, and creates a clear vertical axis through the central channel. The straighter the spine, the more freely the energy moves.
Sit on the floor with the legs crossed. For a deeper lock, press one heel gently against the perineum. Spine erect, chin slightly tucked, shoulders relaxed. This is the seat for all meditation and seated breathing practice.
Occasional writing on the levers, the practices, and how to actually work with them.
